Operating under the banner of the Women’s Department, the Young Women’s Christian Council (YWCC) exists to fulfill four major functions within the church:
- To get young women to find interest in the Word of God and to apply Bible truths to their lives, thereby enabling them to live victoriously through Christ.
- To embrace women in a Christian fellowship of building and sharing relationships that reach beyond physical food and socializing together, manifesting into spiritual food and blissful joy.
- To instruct, develop, and assist young women in outreach and evangelism, as we are committed to active ministry both internally and externally for the sanctifying, unifying, and edifying of the body of Christ to the glory of God.

The women’s department offers great teaching, discussions, prayers and friendship-building, which help to sustain those who may be facing various trials in life. We organize bi-weekly health meetings, including women’s fitness workouts and eating healthy wellness sessions. Our Annual Women’s Retreat is a phenomenal opportunity for reconnection and restoration, and encourages spiritual growth. We’d love to have you join us! Whatever season of life you’re in, there is a place for you to get nurtured and grounded in God’s Word, find grace, encouragement, and hearts that can relate to yours. Also, the women’s department hosts a potluck every 4th Sunday for everyone, followed by a 6 p.m. dynamic worship service.

CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S COUNCIL
According to its mission statement, “the essential role of the Christian Women’s Council (CWC) is to provide its membership, those women above the age of 40 who are “babes in Christ” as well as those who are identified as “seasoned saints,” a dynamic and godly forum whereby members are given the necessary training, instruction, and encouragement, as well as the natural and spiritual support [needed] to meet God’s standard of Holiness. Through the CWC, women are encouraged to use their gifts and talents for increasing the effectiveness of their work in the church’s various bands and auxiliaries, as well as for the upbuilding of the kingdom of God.
